All jobs
Days roll over on their own — no button to press.
Type it or say it — voice needs signal, typing always works.
Tap one, or say it — e.g. "twelve sheets of drywall". New word? Add it with +.

Remind me / due
Snap or pick a photo and add a note. Mark it up if you want. Saved on this phone.
Not a number — fix it or clear it
Tap Mark up to draw on the photo. Until then, one finger scrolls and two fingers zoom in.
A job is a folder. Everything you log gets filed under it, by day.
What the mic listens for when you speak. Buttons and labels stay in English for now. Tip: saying English product names ("drywall") matches your material list best.
Change any of these at any time.
Measurement
Changes the units you pick from. Nothing already logged changes.
Currency
Changes the sign only — prices are never converted. A saved estimate keeps its own.
Your trades
Pick one or more, and each panel suggests the common items for them. With none picked you get the general list.
Your own items always come first. Hidden items stop being suggested; nothing already logged changes.
Light or dark
App colour
Your estimates and agreements use it too.

Sign with your finger. Saved on this phone and placed on your estimates & agreements.
Goes on your estimates and agreements. Every box is optional; change any of it at any time.
Logo
Signature
Your words above are copied into each document when you save it, so old ones stay as they were sent. The logo and signature are the current ones on every document, old ones too.
Keeps the scope, line items, tax, payment terms, terms and conditions, signature lines and notes. Not the client, the estimate number or the date.
Pick one. It fills a new estimate for this job; the template itself doesn't change.
Everything in one file. It puts the app back on a new phone, and it opens without sytpad: the report, the spreadsheet, the photos and the PDFs.
For your bookkeeper
Pick the jobs and dates. You get a report to read and send, and a spreadsheet.
Remind me to save a copy
Copies on this phone
These stay on this phone. They undo a mistake, but they don't help if the phone is lost or the app's data is cleared. They hold your notes; photos stay as they are.
Restore
Takes a full copy or an older backup file. Restoring replaces everything now on this phone. A backup file of what's on the phone now is saved first, so you can undo.

What "saved on this phone" means
Do this before moving. The app cannot check that your phone kept the file — so the move itself checks every photo arrived before it lets go of the old copy, one photo at a time, and stops with nothing lost if one doesn't.
Old recovery copies
Save this job's full record to your phone.
Choose a job, or all of them, and the dates. You get a report to read and send, and a spreadsheet you can edit.
Which job
Which dates
The PDF gets all of them; the spreadsheet gets the photos and receipts. Untick it for a small, quick report.
Which file
For your own records. Receipts never go on an estimate, and Share job leaves them out unless you tick Receipts.
